The Group owns and operates a growing range of popular dine-in and takeaway restaurants in Bahrain. The Rendezvous, and Taka Tak brands offer a diverse choice of cuisines including Arabic, Indian, Continental and Chinese. To support its planned entry to other GCC markets, Cineco recently established a new subsidiary to manage restaurant activities in Saudi Arabia.
Rendezvous
This high-quality informal dining restaurant chain, which commenced operation in Bahrain in 2002, provides a diverse buffet comprising Arabic, Continental, Indian and Chinese cuisines; as well as an à la carte and takeaway menu. Home deliveries can be ordered online through Talabat and Carriage. Rendezvous branches are currently located in Bahrain at Seef Mall and Bahrain City Centre. Open all days(Weekdays 1 pm to 10 pm and Weekends 1 pm to 11 pm), they cater to Cineco cinema patrons and shopping mall visitors alike. The buffet price of BD 7.000 +VAT and Kids (4-9 Years) Buffet Price: 3.770 + VAT offers excellent value for money.
The restaurants’ kitchens operate to the highest international standards of food safety and hygiene; and have been recognized with a very high rating from Bahrain’s Ministry of Health. Staff comprise professionals with a hotel management background, together with catering college graduates who receive customized on-the-job training.
Rendezvous also provides a comprehensive outside catering service for both corporate and individual clients, ranging from a minimum of 40 to a maximum of 400 patrons.
Taka Tak
First opening its doors in 2007 at the Awal Cinema complex, this highly-popular casual dining and takeaway restaurant offers a wide range of Indian and Chinese dishes. In 2015, a second outlet was opened at the Dragon City Mall food court in Muharraq, Bahrain.
